Hi Melody. I have a daughter who is very social and loves playing soccer, and so I got turned into a soccer mom, although I am faceblind enough so that it is hard for me to recognize the other parents. I rely on my husband to make sure I don't accidentally sit on the wrong side at a game! And often it is hard to get my daughter to focus on her studies when she would rather be hanging out with her friends, which is not an issue I ever had with her more academically inclined brother. It's okay though... when there is something I don't understand how to handle, I let my husband deal with it, and he generally does a good job.
